FAQ

How much does a tattoo cost?

Our hourly rate is $120 per hour and we have a minimum charge of $80. Beyond that, we cannot give you any kind of accurate estimation on the price of your tattoo until you come in and meet personally with one of our artists, even then your estimate may be in a large ballpark. There are simply too many factors involved in the execution of a tattoo to estimate the overall cost of something from an email or phone call.

Do you take walk-ins or do I need an appointment?

Walk-ins are accepted on a first come, first served basis. Appointments are preferred, especially if you are seeking custom work.

How do I make an appointment?

Drop by or call the shop to set up a personal consultation with the artist of your choice to discuss your ideas, design and placement.  At this point we will collect a deposit to secure a time for you to come back and receive your new tattoo or go over further design options. We cannot set up an appointment by email or a phone call as we require an $80 cash deposit. This amount will be deducted from the total cost of your tattoo when you receive it or forfeit if you fail to make your appointment.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Some of our tattooers accept Visa and Mastercard. Most of them accept cash only. None of them will take a check. Please discuss a payment arrangement with your tattooer during your initial consultation.

I'm gonna spend all summer laying in the sun. Should I get a tattoo?

Nope. Wait until October.

I go swimming everyday. Should I get a tattoo?

Nope. You'll need to avoid submerging your new tattoo until it is healed (at least 2 weeks).

I'm going hiking this weekend. Should I get my foot tattooed tomorrow?

Nope.

Does it hurt?

Yep.

Should I bring a bunch of friends with me for support?

Nope, unless they're all getting tattooed of course. A bunch of people hanging out can be a big distraction for everyone involved. How many friends do you take to the dentist's office with you?
